Testing at 11 DPO: Where Are hCG Levels?
By 11 DPO, hCG levels in an early pregnancy are typically in the range of 20–100 mIU/mL, depending on when implantation occurred and individual variation in hCG production.
Most pregnancies at 11 DPO should be detectable on a standard 25 mIU/mL test if the sample is first morning urine. Those who implanted on the earlier end (6–8 DPO) may see a clearly positive result; those with later implantation may still have a faint line or even a negative.
Why Some People Get Negatives at 11 DPO
Not everyone implants at the same time. Late implantation - at 10 or 11 DPO - is still within the normal range. If implantation just occurred yesterday, hCG levels may still be too low for most tests to detect on day 11.
This is why a negative at 11 DPO, while frustrating, is not a definitive answer. Retesting in 2–3 days, closer to the day of your expected period, is necessary before ruling out pregnancy.

What to Do With an 11 DPO Result
If you see a positive - even faint - at 11 DPO, take it seriously. Retest in 48 hours to confirm the line is darkening. A line that gets progressively darker with each retest is a strong indicator of a healthy, progressing pregnancy.
If you see a negative at 11 DPO, do not despair. Wait 2–3 more days and retest on the day of your expected period or the day after.
