About ClinicalGuard Pregnancy Tests
ClinicalGuard pregnancy test strips use pink dye and have a detection sensitivity of approximately 25 mIU/mL. They are FDA-cleared and widely used both at home and in clinical settings due to their low cost and reliability.
ClinicalGuard tests are typically sold in packs of 25, 50, or 100 strips, making them popular for people who want to test frequently during the two-week wait or who work in healthcare and need high-volume testing supplies.
Is a Faint Line on ClinicalGuard a Positive?
Yes. Any pink line in the test result area within the 5-minute reading window is a positive result. The faintness of the line reflects the concentration of hCG in your urine - a faint line in early pregnancy simply means hCG is present but still low.
ClinicalGuard's pink dye makes it relatively easy to distinguish a true faint positive from a colorless evaporation line. If the line has any pink tinge within the window, it counts as positive.

ClinicalGuard Strip Handling Tips
Because ClinicalGuard tests are unencased strips, proper handling is important for accurate results. Dip only the absorbent tip (up to the max line) in urine for exactly 5 seconds. Lay the strip flat immediately afterward and do not pick it up until you're ready to read.
Avoid touching the test area of the strip, as skin oils and contaminants can occasionally cause non-specific marks. Read the result at 5 minutes under good lighting.
How ClinicalGuard Compares to Other Strip Tests
ClinicalGuard is comparable to Wondfo, Easy@Home, and Pregmate in both sensitivity (25 mIU/mL) and dye type. All are suitable for testing from the day of a missed period. ClinicalGuard's primary advantage is its availability in large packs and its recognition in clinical settings.
For early testing before 12 DPO, supplement ClinicalGuard with a more sensitive test such as First Response Early Result for the most reliable results.
